Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Snaparazzi Cam (“we”, “us”) collects when you use Snaparazzi Cam, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it plain and short.
1. What we collect
If you are a guest taking photos:
- The photos you take, and the time they were taken.
- A name, only if you choose to type one. It is shown next to your photos.
- A random ID stored in a cookie on your device (called
guest_id). It is not tied to your identity. We use it to count how many shots you have taken so each guest gets their fair share of film. - Camera access: your phone asks permission to use its camera. The camera picture is only used to take the photo you press the button for.
If you are a host (you have an account):
- Your email address, your name and business name if you give them, and your password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form).
- Details about your events: names, dates, welcome messages, settings, and for resellers the client name you enter.
- Your purchase and subscription history (what you bought, amount, status, dates), and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
- A login cookie that keeps you signed in on your browser.
Our servers and hosting providers may also keep basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: show the album, enforce film limits, manage events and accounts.
- To take payments and manage subscriptions.
- To email account holders about their account, receipts, and service notices.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use guests' photos for advertising.
3. Who can see photos
Photos in an event album can be seen and downloaded by anyone who has the event link or QR code. The host and any co-host can also remove photos. The album is not searchable, but if the link is shared, anyone who receives it can open the album. Please only take photos you are comfortable sharing in this way. Hosts are responsible for telling their guests that photos are shared.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to work, with no advertising cookies:
guest_id: counts your shots on this device (kept up to a year).- A login session cookie for hosts, and a cookie that remembers a co-host link on this browser.
You can delete cookies in your browser settings, but guests may then get a fresh roll of film and hosts will be signed out.
5. Who we share information with
We use outside companies to run the service, and they handle data for us:
- Hosting and database providers store our application and its database (accounts, events, photo records).
- Photo storage, such as Cloudflare R2 or a similar storage service, stores the photo files themselves.
- Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, we never see or store your full card number. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people and the service from harm. If the business is sold or transferred, your information may move to the new owner.
6. How long we keep it
- Free albums lock after 7 days and their photos are deleted 14 days after locking, unless the host upgrades.
- Paid albums are kept for 365 days, then lock and are deleted on the same schedule.
- Hosts can remove individual photos or delete an event at any time.
- Account details are kept while your account is open. Payment records may be kept longer where we need them for tax and accounting.
- Backups made by our providers may take a short time to clear after deletion.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, including closing your account, by emailing the support contact on this website. If you are a guest and want a photo of you removed, ask the host first, or contact us and tell us which album it is in. Depending on where you live, you may have extra legal rights over your data, and we will honor them as the law requires.
8. Security
We use sensible measures to protect your information, such as hashed passwords and encrypted connections (HTTPS) where available. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Children
Snaparazzi Cam is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, contact us at the support contact on this website and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For big changes we will try to tell account holders by email.
11. Contact
